i found the location good for walking around alfama plenty was close by the advertised room was as i expected it to be.
the walls seemed to lack soundproofing street noise disrupted sleep without earplugs

i stayed in a lovely double room with a balcony. it overlooked the cutest street. the breakfast had many options and was included. maria at the front desk was friendly and helpful with tours.
the street could be noisy, especially at night. thin windows did little to block the sound. earplugs are essential for a good sleep. i wish the windows were more soundproof.

the hotel is in the middle of the alfama district, this makes it very close to several attractions. tram 28 runs nearby and is very easy to access. this location is optimal for exploring.

Mixed Experience Due To Noise and Cleanliness

The street noise was bothersome throughout the night. Thin windows did little to block it. I found it impossible to rest without earplugs. The cleanliness was also under expectations. The shower, in particular, was not well cleaned.

Breakfast was included and tasted delicious.
The floors had moisture damage, causing the floorboards to peel. The air conditioning dripped onto the floor, , made puddles. The shower drain cover lifted because of water level. Also the drain was very filthy. Sheets had small rips too.

The location proved convenient. options for dining and drinks were just across the street. I found the staff attentive to my needs. the open balconies were a feature i liked.
the room seemed small, and to be honest, it felt expensive for what it was. the addition of tourist tax. i also noticed the absence of a safe for valuables and the provision of only hand towels. i also couldn't find a small table in the room despite adequate space.
